Terms of Use
These terms are short on purpose. Nothing in them takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
1. The agreement
These terms are between you and Kanso. By using Kanso Dot or this website, you agree to them. Kanso Dot is sold through Google Play, so the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your purchase. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.
2. Your licence
When you buy Kanso Dot, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on the Android devices linked to your Google account, as Google Play allows. Please don’t copy, resell or redistribute the app, its fonts or its artwork, and don’t reverse-engineer it except where the law allows you to.
3. Payments and refunds
Google Play handles payments and refunds under its own policies. If something isn’t working, email support@kanso.ink first, and we’ll try to fix it or help.
4. Weather forecasts
Forecasts come from MET Norway and can be wrong. Don’t rely on Kanso Dot for safety-critical decisions, such as severe-weather warnings: check your official weather service. Our weather service is for Kanso apps only. Please don’t use it for anything else, scrape it or overload it.
5. Updates and availability
We aim to keep Kanso Dot working well, and we may update it to fix problems or keep up with Android. The weather service depends on the internet and on third parties, so it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change. The clock, date, analog, battery and now-playing widgets run on your phone and don’t depend on it.
6. No extra promises
Kanso Dot is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we don’t make promises beyond what’s in these terms and on the Google Play listing.
7. Liability
As far as the law allows, Kanso isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim about Kanso Dot is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
8. Third parties
Weather data is from MET Norway under CC BY 4.0 and NLOD 2.0. MET Norway doesn’t endorse Kanso. Android and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above. If you keep using Kanso Dot after a change, the updated terms apply.
